Hallbrook Country Club

Hallbrook Country Club opened in 1988 as the private centerpiece of an upscale residential community in Leawood, Kansas, in the Kansas City metro. Tom Fazio, working with design associate Andy Banfield, laid out the 18-hole, par-72 course across gently wooded, rolling terrain, and Don Hall struck the ceremonial first shot when it debuted. The course is known for its polished conditioning, mature tree lines, water features and the refined, playable-yet-testing character that defines much of Fazio's work, asking for thoughtful positioning rather than raw length. Paired with a landmark clubhouse, Hallbrook has long been regarded as one of the premier private clubs in the greater Kansas City area and a fixture among the top courses in Kansas, hosting regional and state-level competition over the decades.
