Harbor Shores

Harbor Shores is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course that opened in 2010 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and stands as the only Nicklaus Signature design set along Lake Michigan. It anchored an ambitious, nonprofit-driven revitalization of the Benton Harbor and St. Joseph area: crews demolished millions of square feet of derelict buildings and removed roughly 140,000 tons of waste from the Paw Paw River corridor and surrounding sites. The routing threads four distinct landscapes: inland terrain, wooded stretches, holes tracing the Paw Paw River and Ox Creek wetlands, and dramatic dune holes with sweeping Lake Michigan views. Each hole carries the name of a native plant and displays a sculpture commemorating one of Nicklaus's major titles. Since 2012, Harbor Shores has served as the biennial host of the Senior PGA Championship.
