About Indigo Creek Golf Club
Indigo Creek opened in 1990 in Murrells Inlet, a Willard Byrd design routed over land described as an old rice and indigo plantation, with lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. After a period of decline, by 2013 a group led by former assistant pro A.J. Sawyer and East Coast Golf Management had bought it and invested about $500,000 in bunker and drainage work and tree removal.
