About Jimmy Clay Golf Course

Jimmy Clay Golf Course, a City of Austin municipal course in southeast Austin, opened in 1974 and was designed by Joe Finger. It plays about 6,900 yards along Williamson Creek. The addition of the Roy Kizer course in 1994 made it a 36-hole public complex. Three holes were redesigned in a 2007 renovation (including an island green, with greens replanted and bunkers rebuilt), and four greens were reshaped in 2015.
