About Litchfield Country Club

Willard Byrd designed Litchfield Country Club, Pawleys Island's first golf course, which opened in 1966 on the site of an old rice plantation and helped make the area a golf destination. The course has eight sharp doglegs, small greens and mature, moss-draped oaks; today it is a semi-private club in the Founders Group.
