About Longleaf Golf & Family Club

Dan Maples built Longleaf in 1988 on the former Starland Farms thoroughbred training grounds, keeping racetrack fences, rail posts and steeplechase hedges on the course. The U.S. Kids Golf Foundation bought it in 2015 and renamed it Longleaf Golf & Family Club, with scaled family tees.
