About Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe

Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe is the City of Santa Fe's municipal golf course, named for Santa Fe native and standout junior golfer Marty Sanchez, who died of cancer in 1992 at age 25. After his death, Mayor Sam Pick promised the family the city would one day name a course for him, and it opened in 1998. It pairs an 18-hole championship layout with a nine-hole executive course, The Great 28, both credited to Baxter Spann. Since February 2024 the city has contracted Troon's Indigo Sports to manage it.
