McCormick Ranch Golf Club

McCormick Ranch Golf Club opened in 1972 as one of Scottsdale's early full-service golf destinations, designed by the imaginative architect Desmond Muirhead and open to the public ever since. The club offers two contrasting 18-hole championship courses framed by views of Camelback and the McDowell Mountains. The Palm Course is defined by water, featuring roughly ten water holes and stands of towering palms, with a signature ninth once cited among the country's best water holes. The Pine Course plays tighter and more intimate, winding among mature pines. Across five decades the property has hosted a broad range of competitive golf, including the Arizona Open, state amateur championships, the National Junior College Golf Championship, U.S. Open qualifying, and the Palm Course's run as a Canadian Tour stop hosting the Scottsdale Swing.
