Bent Tree Country Club is a private club in North Dallas that opened in 1974 (founded 1972) as the centerpiece of a 700-acre development led by Dallas real estate investors Robert Folsom and John Murchison. Scottish architect Desmond Muirhead designed the course on roughly 190 acres of former cotton fields. The LPGA and Senior PGA tours frequently held tournaments there in the 1980s, and Keith Foster redesigned the course in 2003.
