There's real history in this ground, a Langford and Moreau design that has weathered a century and a flood-control channel with its character intact. We love how the river valley gives it drama, and how the club protected the routing's soul when the water forced changes. It rewards thoughtful golf.

About Minnehaha Country Club
Minnehaha Country Club traces its roots to 1905, when a handful of Sioux Falls golfers laid out a rough nine on the edge of town. The club incorporated in 1913 and relocated to its present site south of downtown in 1917, building a colonial-style clubhouse. After acquiring more land, members expanded to eighteen holes, and the course was designed by the noted architectural firm of William Langford and Theodore Moreau in 1922, with a lower nine set in the Big Sioux River valley. That routing endured for generations. In 2010, a citywide flood-diversion channel claimed several acres of the property, prompting a sensitive reworking by Graham Marsh Golf Design that reshaped more than half the holes, added and rebuilt bunkers, and introduced new tees to preserve the original design's spirit.
