About Lake Worth Municipal Golf Course
In 1923 the City of Lake Worth approved a proposition to build a municipal golf course along its lakefront, hiring the architectural firm of Langford and Moreau. Nine holes officially opened November 11, 1926, and the course has operated continuously since 1927. Owned by the City of Lake Worth Beach, it is an old-Florida-style layout of roughly 6,100 yards, par 70, running along 1.2 miles of the Intracoastal Waterway.
