About Oak Marsh at Omni Amelia Island Resort

Oak Marsh is a 1972 Pete Dye course at what is now the Omni Amelia Island Resort, finished shortly after his Harbour Town and laid out through salt marsh and moss-draped oaks on a barrier island just south of the Georgia line. Railroad-tie bulkheads and carefully placed bunkers echo Harbour Town. It hosted the 1988 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur, and a $7.4 million renovation by Beau Welling Design rebuilt all 18 greens before reopening in May 2025.
