Ozarks National Course

Ozarks National, part of Johnny Morris's Big Cedar Lodge golf collection near Branson, opened in 2019 as the resort's Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw contribution. True to the design duo's philosophy of seeking land that already looks and feels like golf, the routing was laid over a series of dramatic ridges, letting the natural contours dictate strategy rather than imposing artificial features. The result is a walkable, wide-corridor course rewarding creativity and ground-game shotmaking, with sweeping views across the lower hillsides that fold into the surrounding Ozark landscape. It has been widely praised in national rankings of public-access courses and rounds out a remarkable cluster of resort golf that includes Buffalo Ridge Springs, Top of the Rock, and Payne's Valley, helping establish the Branson area as a genuine golf destination.
