About Palmetto Hall - Robert Cupp Golf Course
The Robert Cupp Course at Palmetto Hall opened in 1993, designed by Robert Cupp, a former Golf World Architect of the Year. When it opened it carried a 152 slope from the back tees, reported as the highest of any course in South Carolina. Cupp plotted the original design on a computer, giving it characteristic straight lines, sharp angles and unusual shapes; it plays about 7,079 yards at par 72 and shares the Palmetto Hall facility with the Arthur Hills Course.
