About The Preserve at Verdae

The Preserve at Verdae is a par-72 daily-fee course in Greenville, designed by Willard C. Byrd and opened in 1991 as Verdae Greens. Attached to the Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center, it was rebranded The Preserve at Verdae after an environmentally focused renovation; since 2011 more than a third of its roughly 175 acres have been naturalized to create wildlife corridors and reduce chemical use. It remains open to public play.
