About Redtail Golf Club

RedTail is a City of Portland municipal course in Beaverton, originally opened in the mid-1960s as Progress Downs Municipal Golf Course. It was designed by Erv Thoreson, a landscape architect with the city's Park Bureau, on farmland purchased in 1954. Following a full redesign led by John Zoller, it reopened in 2000 under the name RedTail Golf Course.
