Why we love this place

Rocky Ridge is a full-length par 72 just south of Burlington with a creek that keeps you thinking and a mix of open and tree-lined holes. Friendly, well-priced and in good shape, it is an easy choice for a weekday round in Chittenden County.

About Rocky Ridge Golf Club

Rocky Ridge Golf Club opened in 1963 on Route 116 in St. George, south of Burlington, with Ernie Farrington credited as its designer. The 18-hole course plays to par 72 and about 6,282 yards from the blue tees, with bluegrass playing surfaces and a creek that crosses several holes, and its routing mixes open holes with tree-lined ones. The club offers a driving range, putting green, restaurant and locker rooms, and walking is allowed; the season runs from April into mid-November. Rocky Ridge is now operated by Milne Golf, the group that also runs Neshobe Golf Club in Brandon and that announced a partnership with the Basin Harbor golf club in 2026, linking the three courses through reciprocal play and shared programming.
