Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club was founded in 1959 on the Intracoastal Waterway in central Boca Raton, with Sam Snead as its first golf professional. The 18-hole course was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., updated by Joe Lee in 1988, and later rebuilt by Nicklaus Design (most recent renovation in 2024). The private club also includes a marina, tennis and fitness facilities.
