About Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove - River Course

The River Course is one of two 18-hole courses at Hampton Cove, which the Retirement Systems of Alabama opened in 1993 as the third site on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. It was built on former soybean fields in the Flint River flood plain, with 32 interconnected lakes and ponds, and water comes into play on 16 of its 18 holes. The course was designed without a single bunker. It plays to 7,668 yards, par 72.
