About Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill - Judge Course

The Judge is one of three 18-hole courses at Capitol Hill, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail site in Prattville developed by the Retirement Systems of Alabama, which opened in May 1999 as the eighth stop on the Trail. GolfPass credits Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Roger Rulewich with the design. The course sits on marsh and an artificial lake along the Alabama River, and its opening hole drops about 200 feet. A 2026 renovation added eight forward tees and seven new green complexes and regrassed all greens.
