Ryder Brook is laid-back Lamoille County golf: a rolling, links-style nine with one of the longest driving ranges around. It is perfect for a quick loop, a range session or teaching a new golfer the game, without any resort prices or fuss.
Ryder Brook Golf Club is a nine-hole regulation course on Laporte Road in Morrisville, spread across about 100 acres of rolling terrain. The club describes its layout as links-style, with open, rolling holes rather than tree-lined corridors. The property was formerly the Farm Motor Inn and Country Club, also known as the Farm Resort, which also offered cross-country ski trails, and according to a Vermont ski history archive the course was converted into a regulation nine-hole layout in 1978. Today the club is best known locally for its practice facility: a driving range more than 350 yards long with both grass and mat tees. Tee times can be booked online or by phone, and the course welcomes daily-fee players.
