About Tara Golf Club at Savannah Lakes Village

Tara is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course at Savannah Lakes Village on Lake Thurmond, designed by Tom Clark and opened in 1991. The layout winds through hillsides bordering Sumter National Forest, with the 9th and 18th sharing a large green overlooking the lake. It is the community's second course alongside Monticello; members get tee-time priority, with guest play available through the village's golf program.
