About Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club

Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club opened in 2001 along the Waccamaw River in Conway, a traditional English-style layout from architect Clyde Johnston, with large rectangular tees and touches recalling A.W. Tillinghast and Donald Ross. The Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association named it its 2009 Golf Course of the Year, and later renovations added sandy waste areas linking several fairways.
