Stonebriar Country Club

Stonebriar Country Club was founded in 1988 in Frisco, Texas, north of Dallas, and grew into a private 36-hole facility. Its original layout, the Country Club Course, was designed by architects Joe Finger and Ken Dye with a traditional character built on rolling fairways and demanding shot-making. About a decade later, around 2000, Tom Fazio added a second eighteen, bringing a more modern feel with an emphasis on playability, variety and visual drama. Together the two courses give members contrasting styles on one property. The club sits in a fast-growing corridor of Collin County that has become one of the nation's busiest areas for golf development, home to major training and championship facilities. Stonebriar remains a well-regarded private club known for its conditioning and its dual-course setup.
