About Sugar Creek Golf Club

Sugar Creek Golf & Tennis Center on Bouldercrest Road opened in 1976 as a public daily-fee 18-hole course, and is now a county-owned DeKalb County Parks and Recreation facility. It closed in fall 2017 and DeKalb reopened it in December 2019 after a renovation funded by SPLOST, county tourism and general-fund money. It closed again in March 2020 over erosion problems at the cart bridges and reopened on August 10, 2020.
