Sugarloaf Golf Club was designed by Geoffrey Cornish on land assembled from four family farms by their owners, and it opened in 1967. The 18-hole, par-72 public course has a gently rolling front nine and a back nine with hills, creeks and lakes. It measures from 5,577 yards on the forward tees to just over 7,005 yards from the championship tees.
