About Thatcher Golf Course

Thatcher Golf Course is a nine-hole municipal course on Indianapolis's west side at 4549 W. Vermont Street, owned by Indy Parks & Recreation and operated by Capital City Golf Management. Indy Parks dates the course to 1967, built on just 38.7 acres. Its heavily wooded layout of short, tight holes and narrow, oak-lined fairways rewards accuracy over distance, making it one of the most affordable entry points in the city's long-running municipal golf system, which dates to Riverside in 1900.
