About The Golf Club At Fleming Island

The Golf Club at Fleming Island, a public course in the Fleming Island Plantation community, opened in 2000 to a design by Ponte Vedra Beach architect Bobby Weed. It is a par-71 layout of about 6,688 yards with two distinct nines: a links-style front through waste areas and wetlands, and a wooded back. Golf Digest ranked it fifth among Best New Affordable Golf Courses in America in January 2003, and it served as a 2003 U.S. Open qualifying site.
