Nicklaus called this one of his most imaginative courses, and we feel it, quiet Jupiter land shaped into chocolate-drop mounds, sneaky-good greens and a members-first spirit. We love a place that chases cleverness over card-wrecking length. It's Jack at his most personal, and it still wears that beautifully.

About The Loxahatchee Club
The Loxahatchee Club opened in 1984 in Jupiter, Florida, as one of Jack Nicklaus's earliest and most personal design efforts, a course he conceived as a true 'members' course.' Nicklaus set out to blend the ground-game flavor of the old Scottish game with the polish of modern American design, and he has described it as one of his most imaginative layouts and among the best he has ever done. Built on largely flat terrain, the course draws its character from countless small 'chocolate-drop' mounds, undulating and well-bunkered greens, and a routing that rewards thoughtful shotmaking over raw power. The work earned early acclaim: Golf Digest named it a Best New Course and, by 1989, ranked it among the top 100 courses in North America. It remains a private, understated retreat closely tied to Nicklaus's own name.
