Built in 1968 on the banks of the Haw River in Burlington and designed by North Carolina architect Ellis Maples, the course is owned and operated by the City of Burlington. Known as Indian Valley Golf Course until a rebranding to The Valley around 2021, it plays as an 18-hole, par-70 municipal layout open to the public year-round.
