About Rock Barn G & Cc
Rock Barn was established in 1997 when businessman Don Beaver acquired the property to build a 36-hole golf community and spa resort in Conover. It has two championship courses — the Jones Course (Robert Trent Jones Jr., ~7,169 yards) and the Jackson Course (Tom Jackson, 1995). The Jones Course hosted the PGA Champions Tour's Greater Hickory Classic (2004-2011); the Jackson Course is open to public daily-fee play while the Jones Course is members-only.
