About The Valley Golf Course

The Valley is an 18-hole, par-70 municipal course on the banks of the Haw River in Burlington. It was built in 1968 to a design by Ellis Maples -- who trained under Donald Ross -- and has always been owned and operated by the City of Burlington. A public driving range was added soon after opening. It operated for more than 50 years as Indian Valley Municipal Golf Course before being rebranded The Valley Golf Course in 2021.
