About Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter
This Jupiter, Florida club opened in 2002 as the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, the hotel brand's first private golf venture, built as the centerpiece of an exclusive residential community. Jack Nicklaus produced the Signature design, a layout measuring roughly 7,400-plus yards and noted for one of South Florida's highest USGA course ratings. Sitting near Nicklaus's own private Bear's Club, the course threads fairways past scrub-lined water and features memorable holes including a par-3 11th playing to an island green and a Redan-inspired 14th guarded by a large fronting bunker. In December 2012 Donald Trump acquired the property from Ritz-Carlton, reportedly for about $5 million plus the assumption of member deposit obligations, and rebranded it as Trump National Golf Club Jupiter. It continues as a private members' club with an extensive clubhouse, spa, and practice facilities.
