About Vero Beach Country Club
Vero Beach Country Club traces to the 1920s (founded circa 1924, associated with early Vero figures Arthur McKee and Waldo Sexton), with the 18-hole course designed by Herbert Strong and dated to 1929. The par-72 layout of roughly 6,561 yards blends oaks, lakes and natural hazards; John Sanford updated it in 2003, when it became one of the first U.S. courses fully converted to salt-tolerant Paspalum turf.
