The 18-hole course at Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg was designed by Rick Robbins. Golf directories list its opening as 2001, while a DCSki report gives 2000. In April 2006, Whitetail Resort and its parent company, Snow Time, Inc., announced they had bought the course, which had previously been operated by a regional public authority.
