Crow Creek Golf

Crow Creek Golf Club opened in February 2000 in the small fishing village of Calabash, just over the state line from Myrtle Beach. The public course was designed by Rick Robbins, a former Jack Nicklaus design associate, and built on developer Jerry McLamb's 500-acre family homestead. Robbins routed the layout through towering Carolina pines and around lakes and the Caw Caw river, using the property's natural water and wooded corridors to shape a scenic, playable test. Conditioning has long been a calling card, with Tifsport bermuda fairways and undulating L-93 bent grass greens. A par-72 course, Crow Creek has become a popular stop for Grand Strand golf travelers and a regular host site for the Myrtle Beach World Amateur, blending resort-friendly width with enough strategy to keep better players honest.
