About Ballenisles Country Club - South Course

The South Course was originally built in 1964 by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee as part of PGA National Golf Club. It underwent a full tee-to-green redesign led by Rees Jones — a roughly $7.5 million project with new greens, bunkers, cart paths and irrigation — reopening in January 2020. The club has been known as BallenIsles since 1988.
