About Pine Tree Golf Club

Pine Tree Golf Club was commissioned in 1960 from architect Dick Wilson, who built it on former dairy farmland, and the 18-hole club opened for play in January 1962. Within a year Ben Hogan reportedly called it the greatest flat course in America, and it is widely regarded as one of Wilson's finest designs. Its more than 120 bunkers were restored in recent years by Ron Forse and Jim Nagle.
