About Berkeley Country Club

Berkeley Country Club sits on Exeter Plantation, with roots to the 1700s, in Moncks Corner. It began as a nine-hole course in 1959, and George Cobb completed the 18-hole championship layout in 1967 -- the same year a fire destroyed the original plantation house. A Lowcountry-style clubhouse was built in the mid-1990s, with Champion Bermuda greens added in 2005 and 419 Bermuda fairways in 2008. The club has members but takes public greens-fee play.
