About Casa Blanca Golf Course
Casa Blanca Golf Course is Laredo's original public course, designed by Texas architect Leon Howard and opened in 1967 beside Lake Casa Blanca on the city's east side. It is owned by Webb County rather than the City of Laredo. The par-72 layout of roughly 6,540-6,590 yards was the longtime home of the Border Olympics collegiate tournament, where future stars Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Fred Couples and Steve Elkington played as college golfers. New management in 2019 brought improvements to conditioning and the clubhouse.
