About Cheraw State Park Golf Course

Cheraw State Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout designed by Tom Jackson that opened in 1992. It winds through longleaf pine forest along the shores of Lake Juniper and is noted for protecting habitat including red-cockaded woodpeckers. South Carolina State Parks operates it as a public course; it closed for renovation in early 2026 with a planned reopening later that year.
