Chicopee Country Club is a municipally owned, 18-hole, par-71 course in Chicopee designed by Geoffrey Cornish, carved from woodlands adjacent to Westover Air Reserve Base and Chicopee Memorial State Park. Ground was broken in June 1964 and the course opened in 1965; it has been recognized among the better public courses in Massachusetts and New England.
