Cobb's Glen opened in 1976 and takes its name from architect George Cobb, the Greenville-based designer who also built the par-3 course at Augusta National. The semi-private 7,002-yard, par-72 layout rolls through mature forest with about 90 bunkers and has hosted U.S. Open qualifying and the South Carolina Amateur.
