About De Cordova Bend Country Club

De Cordova Bend Country Club is a private 18-hole course in the De Cordova Bend Estates community on Lake Granbury, southwest of Fort Worth. Fort Worth's Leonard family developed the course and brought in architect Leon Howard (with Dave Bennett) to build it in 1968. The result is a hacker-friendly layout of roughly 6,423 yards (par 70) carved from the rolling, mesquite-covered hills, with Champion Bermuda greens. Access is restricted to residents and their guests, except for a handful of annual charity tournaments.
