Hampton Hall's Pete Dye signature course opened in 2004 inside a private Bluffton community founded in 2000. Dye was undergoing cancer treatment during construction and made fewer site visits than usual. The links-style par 72 plays 7,503 yards with wide fairways, huge greens and heavy bunkering; Nathan Crace led a fairway-drainage renovation beginning in April 2023.
