About Harlingen Country Club
Harlingen Country Club traces to 1949, but its current 18-hole layout was designed in 1965 by Leon Howard and Dave Bennett and updated in 1985 by Dick Nugent. Around 1970 the club relocated to its present site on former Harlingen airport property. The flat, tree-lined course brings water into play on roughly 14 of 18 holes, and the clubhouse was rebuilt after Hurricane Dolly, reopening in 2010. It remains a private club.
