Highlands Course

The Highlands is a nine-hole Tom Fazio course that opened in 1999 at the Black Diamond Ranch golf community in Lecanto, Citrus County, following the earlier Quarry (1987) and Ranch (1997) courses. It plays to a par of 36 of about 3,400-3,500 yards. The broader 1,240-acre property, former limestone quarry and sand-dune terrain, was developed by Stan Olsen, co-founder of Digital Equipment Corporation.
