Hunter's Green Country Club in Tampa opened in 1989 with a championship course designed by Tom Fazio, carved from native wetlands and pine forest with 65 acres of preserved wetlands and 13 lakes. The course stretches to roughly 7,059 yards and hosted the 2009 Florida State Amateur; Fazio returned for a redesign in 2006, and the club is now part of the Invited (ClubCorp) portfolio.
