John'S Island Club - West Course

The West Course is the newest of John's Island Club's three eighteens, a Tom Fazio design that opened for play in the early 1990s and sits northwest of the club's older North and South courses. It complements a Pete Dye layout (North) and a Jack Nicklaus layout (South) on and around a large barrier-island setting near Vero Beach and Indian River Shores. Fazio routed the West through native Florida scrub and wetlands, leaning on his trademark framing, generous shaping, and clean bunkering rather than the water-and-railroad-tie drama of the neighboring Dye course. Intensely private and members-only, it has earned national recognition on respected course rankings. Together the three courses make John's Island one of the deepest single-club golf portfolios on Florida's Treasure Coast.
