Lake Nona Golf & Country Club

Lake Nona's Tom Fazio championship course opened in 1986 as the centerpiece of a roughly 600-acre gated community in southeast Orlando. Fazio built holes around water and gentle Florida contours, and the club quickly became famous less for a single tournament than for who lives there: it grew into one of the most concentrated addresses for touring professionals in the game, home over the years to a large roster of active and retired PGA Tour and LPGA players. The course hosted the inaugural Solheim Cup in 1990, cementing its early competitive pedigree, and has appeared regularly on national and global top-course rankings. Its combination of world-class conditioning, tour-caliber residents, and a Fazio routing has kept it among Orlando's most respected private clubs for decades.
